Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is a professional who is responsible for the correct execution of inspecting and monitoring activities of the Quality Management System of the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Carries out checks and collects data for the Quality Management System of the establishment;
  • Performs internal audits to test the Quality Management System of the establishment;
  • The preparation / revision / assessment of technical and quality documents for the Quality Management System of the establishment including HACCP and Quality in Action plans;
  • Collects samples for checks and official inspections/audits;
  • Preparation of reports on checks / audits carried out;
  • Entering and archiving analysis results and collected data for the administration of the Quality Management System of the company;
  • Drawing up trend analyzes regarding self-checking system for the Quality Management System of the company;
  • Preparation and revision of inspection points list for hygiene monitoring for the establishment;
  • Analyses/ carries out thorough preliminary research on quality issues for the institution (desk study);
  • Executes assignments associated with the Quality Management System of the establishment;
  • Makes the final report for the Quality Management System of the company and communicates the decisions made to the staff of the company;
  • Participates in all activities in the context of continuous education of staff of the institution;
  • Trains new and existing staff to perform their work correctly within the framework of the Quality Management System of the company;
  • Integrate, guide, support and coach the staff of the institution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A completed pre-university education (VWO) (with biology and chemistry) or equivalent;
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written;
  • Has successfully completed the in-service training course "Fish inspection and quality management in the fishing sector" (MBO +);
  • Relevant completed internal / external training courses, courses, Quality Management Systems for fish processing companies;
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience with quality management systems for fish processing companies;
  • Certificate of good conduct;
  • Have a BE driving license;
  • Have enough basic knowledge to be able to maintain and monitor the Quality Management System of the establishment;
  • Knowledge of and insight into the Inspection Act and its implementation regulations, EU regulations and Codex Alimentarius standards as well as their ability to interpret them;
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the ISO 17020 standard and relevant components.
